| I don't know about you guys, but I head multiple cases a day of "repressed momories" like childhood abuse, and other things such as that. What do you all think of it. Personally, I don't beleive in repressed memories of traumatic event.
So what do you think, real or not?

| I don't believe in it either. It's considered to be a coping mechanism...but Freud was a nutter, and I have to take many of his theories with a grain of salt. | |

| Eh. I've never had them myself, however--with all the movies these days, some of it can be engrained on your brain, and with dreams you dont remember, the mind can be tricked into believing its having "repressed" memories, which in reality arent actually theirs. | |

| I think that's the nature of Deja'vu. | |

| Seriously.....out of any phenomena....I fucking hate Deja'vu. I feel like there's something going on I should be able to change, because whatever is going on already happened, and everything just goes bonkers, and I get this huge head rush, (head rush for me = severe head ache strange temporary blindness) and I just slump against a wall for a few minutes.
But enough bitching about it. I realize, after a little bit, that it's just not logical to be experiencing the same exact event in the period of time it already happened. I just shake the hocus pokus off me and keep going.

| I personally think the idea of Deja Vu is interesting, and I enjoy the feeling of it - kind of a "whoa, neat" dealie. It's always about the most mundane stuff, too. Like, the things people say, sitting in exactly such a way, specific colors...totally unimportant stuff, but totally the same down to the smallest details. | |

| I dont like that feeling. It makes me feel too much like im in an alternate dimention where I've already been doing these things, and its just circle after circle of doing things and not remembering them. Creeps me out. | |

| "ZOMG, THERE'S A GLITCH IN THE MATRIX!"
...that's what I shall proclaim the next time I experience Deja Vu.

| Really? I liked the first one, but the second one was kinda meh. I never saw the third one.
That's not the typical genre I like, anyway.
