Teh bibl

I hereby dedicate this thread to the systematic destruction of teh bibl (it shall hense forth be known as teh bibl).

Lets start with the book of genisis. The creation story fails to mention dinosaurs and all forms of bacteria. It also makes several referances to giants and states that anything or any one that kills a human being must be killed, for we are supposedly created in god's image, so killing a human is a crime against god. That contradicts one of the ten commandments. Which number I don't recall, but it's thou shalt not kill. There are many more contradictions than that. Find them! Share them!

Right...the destruction of the bible is just as bad as forcing biblical ideas on others...

So we shall allow them to believe that the earth is the center of the universe? I only point out things in the bible, I don't make things up. Besides, I'm discussing the subject, not burning them if they believe. They way I see it, modern christians as individuals can't be held accountable for the massacres by the the church, so we must destroy the church itself. We do that by taking away their base, the people. I don't care what sence of comfort people get from their religion, I will prove their religion to be false.

And as far as the policy and pushing religion, I'm not pushing religion, I'm taring it down. As far as being fair, Christianity is (currently) the largest religion. Aftrer Christianity, I would think it would be islam. Jewdism is pretty small after their persicution by Christians in the dark ages (when the catholic church ran everything) and then by the Nazis, but they are the base of both islam and christianity. The old testament is the jewish portion and is mainly what I address, which effectivly challenges Jewdism, Christianity, and Islam. Btw, cutting your side burns is a sin. Your a naghty boy.

I just must say, that even though the bible fails to directly mention the dinosaurs and bacteria and stuff, a "day" for god isn't defined. A day for him could be millions of years for us.

We all know I'm sure as Hell not Christian but I'm just throwing ideas out there.

The Christian faith can be a perfectly fine gathering of people, so long as they don't start thinking they can push it on others. Also, one of the common beleifs of not-so-extreme Christians is that the bible isn't meant to be interperted directly, that's what I was taught when I went to Sunday School. Its said to be a group of stories that are written metaphorically, not that when the "flood gates of Heaven opened" to begin the flood that is known in the story of Noah's arc, that literal flood gates open. It started raining.

I am not Christian, and i don't beleive the bible.
But I'm just throwing out a impersonal veiw.

I happen to be an Atheist as well, and i for one, DONT know what the prefix means. Why not share with us your wonderful brilliant cognitive abilities.

The prefix A means the opposite of what follows the prefix, so theism (the belief in gods) + the prefix A = Atheism the belief in no gods. My previous posts ravings were directed at people who ask "So what do atheists believe in?" o_O duh. This seems obvious to me now, but if someone hadn't broken it down like that for me before, way back when, it may not be so obvious to me now. So basically, I wasn't yelling at anyone on this forum, I was yelling at stupid Beverly hills girls. Damn Beverly hills girls and their platinum cards!!!
